Building Community in SUD Treatment and Recovery

This training explores the vital role of community in supporting individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) during treatment and throughout recovery. Participants will explore the biological, psychological, and social impacts of connection, particularly related to recovery outcomes. The role of both professional and non-professional supports will be examined, with a focus on strategies that assist with the development of meaningful connection and community development to support clients in treatment and in long-term recovery.
